We’re reviving a once forgotten campground into a place where stories are shared under starry skies trails are explored with muddy boots and wagging tails, and everyone leaves stronger than they arrived. rooted in resilience and renewal, our mission is to create the Christ centered refuge, where families reconnect, weary travelers find rest, and the beauty of God‘s creation speaks of healing to the soul. Inspired by the loyal spirit of the black dog, we welcome all with open arms, open trails, and the promise that no one walks alone.

Our Variety
Black Dog Base Camp (Formerly known as Lewiston Shady Acres) has been a beloved RV park for generations. Originally established by Dennis and Dorthy, Veterans of the US. Military, their legacy continues on with a diverse forward vision. Peter and Cara will maintaining their commitment to providing a welcoming and peaceful environment for all visitors.

From spacious RV sites to cozy cabins, Black Dog Base Camp offers a range of accommodation options to suit your every need and budget. Our facilities include a retail store, laundry facilities, clean restrooms with shower facilities. Our additional offerings include daily pool house packages and can supply white water, propane and grey / black water dump services
